This is a 'bijou' village house. Very small, three
floors, a roof terrace, and loads of charm. We re tiled the kitchen
as well as the ground floor. The ground floor had a vary strange
bathroom and the street door opened directly into the room. We
rationalized the bathroom, built a head height partial wall, and
made it into a usable bedroom
The first floor was 2 very tiny bedrooms and a large shower room. We
took out the partition between the two bedrooms and made one, took
out the shower and installed an antique claw foot tub, installed
a new sink, and plumbed in a washing machine.
The second floor is the lounge, kitchen and terrace. We re
rendered the terrace walls and fixed the drains. We installed
wood flooring in the lounge. IN the kitchen we fitted a new
sink and gas cook top as well as making custom wood work surfaces. We
also made a larder utility cupboard. |
